So, Rachel did us a favor this weekend.

Dunno if that video is going to work or not, but if it does you can see Piglets heart beating.

While we were there she scanned us both, everywhere.  Stephen has a fatty liver, means he needs to cut out his junk food intake.  Other than that, he looked good.

Me however, I had some spots on my thyroid, could explain the 75+ pounds Ive gained.  Makes me feel a little better knowing that its not just because I’ve gotten fat its something out of my control.  However, it is something to be concerned about, health wise, and I probably will never be able to gain control of my weight.

The other thing she found was a pretty big growth on my left ovary.  She says its benign, she asked others and they agreed.  She called it a dermoid (sp?).  Im gonna look them up in a bit.  Basically its nothing to worry about but its still good to know its there.  Shes going to keep an eye on it for me.  The good news is that the left ovary still works, she figured out thats the one I ovulated from.

So, I feel ALOT better about things right now.  I was supposed to be 7 weeks 4 days and the baby measured at 7 weeks 3 days, the heart beat is right on target, things are where they are supposed to be and look good.  Makes me happy.  Gives me peace of mind.

It still feels very unreal to me, I still dont feel pregnant, other than a few indicators, I’m still having a hard time wrapping my brain around it.  I was excited when I saw the baby on the screen, that made it a bit more of a reality, but I still cant believe that there is a Piglet inside of me.  Thats just crazy!

Other than that our 4 day weekend was good.  Rainy and cold, but good.  We had Thanksgiving dinner at our house, went very well.

We got our tree up and decorated, got lots of presents bought.
