Rabbits and Strangers…..

Ok, so perhaps I’ll come off of faves now.  No sense in being there any more with the other issue resolved.

Today my bro was sick I had to go pick him up from school.  I left work at about a quarter to 9.  I didnt get back until 1.  Ready to find out why?  Ok, so on the drive home I figured ‘hey, lets stop at this place and see what kinda chickens they have’  Every Wednesday there is a little flea/farmers market thing on the side of the Freeway, always lots of stuff there.  I’ve never stopped before, so I did.  They had pigs, goats, chickens, ducks, guineas(sp), rabbits, turkeys and other stuff too.  I knew I wanted a rabbit since I was planning on getting one for Justin anyways.  I considered a goat, and I knew I wanted guineas.  I decided against the chickens because Dennis ***** is supposed to give me some as you know.  Anywho……..the pens arent ready yet, so I drove around getting feed, feeders, waters etc for the animals.  I’ll have to finish the pens this weekend or something.  John and I went to Wal-Mart just to see if they happened to have a rabbit pen or something of the like.  The one at the feed store was 23 bucks and I didnt really want to pay that much for it.

As we are pulling into Wal-Mart we see an old guy with a sign “Need Gas, will work”  I told John “Aww we should give him like 5 bucks”, I dug around, found my 5 bucks handed it to John and sent him on his way.  The guy told him he was driving down from Indiana and needed a battery for his car, which took all of his money.  He still needed to get to Galveston (a good 2 hour or so drive from here) he told John he wasnt homeless and even pointed out his car.  Apparently he has pride issues……which is fine and dandy.  I felt DAMN good about myself for doing that, even John felt good.  We got on the topic of how giving I am.  I LOVE to give, I’ll spend my money on what few bills I have and then the rest its like “here world, take what you want”  I love giving money to random strangers.  Is that weird of me?  Nah, I think not.

I got what I needed and we headed back to the place to buy our animals.  I got a pair of guineas and little girl rabbit.  I took a picture of the rabbit but forgot to bring my cam back to work with me so I’ll have to show you guys later.  Her name is Petunia.  She is still just a baby.  I had John call Kris and tell her to come over, but not tell her why.  I showed Justin his new rabbit.  At first he wasnt too impressed, he smiled and petted it, but thats about it.  Eventually though he appeared to be a bit more impressed.  I’m glad.  She is a dwarf rabbit which is perfect for Froggie, she will never get too big for him.  Kris rigged up a pen for now, I’ll have to build a better one asap.  That was my excitement for the day.  Now here I am back at work ::sigh::

So, Dennis *****’s dad did die.  Apparently they finally got a pulse and such going, but by then he was braindead.  I didnt hear the entire story, but I think his heart stopped again and they pronounced him dead.  Right after that his heart started beating again……..so he was alive.  Then at 10 yesterday morning he did die.  As far as I know he stayed that way.  Not a nice way to word that……sorry.  At least he was braindead, because that would be an awful way to go…lots of pain and stuff, being prononuced dead then coming back to life.  He fought hard though, gotta give him that.  Anyways, Dennis ***** is trying to keep himself busy with work and what not, which is to be expected, you HAVE to keep yourself busy in order to keep your mind off such things.

I guess thats really all the ‘news’ I have for now.

TATA all!

Everytime that I go to stuff like that, I end up with multiple animals! It’s craziness!
