Well we have a date…

Haha a graduation date this is!! So I got the email today (or sometime this week, I just checked today) that says graduation is May 14th. It will be a drive in style, meaning I can only bring a small amount of people who have to be in the car with me, to be admitted in. Then, they will have to stay in the car, and watch from there. It’s sucky, but it is what it is. I’ll still get to walk across the stage and get my degree (or the holder for it, I think they said the awards are received about 6-8 weeks after the ceremony (we got ours same day at high school, but that was many moons ago haha). I can order my cap and gown now, and it’s only $50, which is cheap, but then it’s probably thin AF haha. Still, it’s less than I thought it would be, which is a good thing. I may grab an alumni shirt too, and maybe a mask to wear with the school logo. Gotta plan an outfit and hair, will need to request a few days off, so I’ll do that now. I will be so glad to be done. God willing I will pass all my class and earn my degree, FINALLY. I can’t wait to be done. Since I can’t have as many people there as I’d like, I’ll have the live stream link they’ll provide ready. I’m excited and nervous, as in I’ve been struggling these past few months with everything going on, but I am determined to make it. I can’t wait til that day! I hope some opportunities come with that. I will look at this virtual job expo they have going to see where I can get in, I’m ready for better!
