salmon steak

K brought home some salmon steaks last night.

We trust the Gorton’s fishermen.

Having a glass of wine, too. (Wine always makes me feel sophisticated, even though I know that I am not.) Whatever illusions help me through the day, right? But, how "sophisticated" can you really be with a $4.99 bottle of Arbor Mist? Yeah, yeah, cheap date. Wine = headache.

There is something wrong with the desktop computer in the living room, the last time the power went out, it seemed to burn itself up. So, we are both using my laptop. I know, right? I don’t share well. I really do like the little netbook, it’s great for reading the journal entries that I put on the flash drive, but typing on it is weird (it’s so compact), and it feels like a "toy". (I’m going to get an Acer netbook at Wal-mart sometime this winter). A purple one!! (Going to give the little green one to my son for his birthday).

I’ve been looking at Coach purses online. I really want one, but they are so damned expensive! I might just settle for a leather one for now from Penney’s or Macy’s.

Getting attitude from Aaron again. He’ll be 17 in a few weeks. Must just be the age. Doesn’t help the depression though.

Okay, gonna go, I’m in the middle of reading "Black Out" by Lisa Unger. Very good book, this is the second time that I have read it. (Maybe the third).

I was just thinking of purses the other day…remember when Liz Clairborne was ‘THE’ purse to own? Boy, I’m really showing my age with that one!! Hope Aaron’s attitude improves – raising a teenager can be so frustrating.
