Just made tacos for dinner. But. I failed to take notice of the absence of ingredients in the cupboard, so we had tacos with squeezy cheese and Taco Bell hot sauce on them. They were the LEANEST tacos that  I ever remember having. But they were good. (At least after a couple of Butterscotch Schnapps shots.)

I need to take some sort of grammar class, because I think that my grammar is shit. I don’t remember if the parentheses go on the inside or the outside of a question mark, period, or any other kind of, I am having trouble finding the right word, um, punctuation. Hm…..

About the changing my career in my last entry: I imagine with my CNA certification, and having worked 3 years in a nursing home, I could probably now apply for a job in a hospital. But I wonder if it would be too hectic for me?

*C just called me outside to see a rainbow arching over the end of our trailer. Very perty, I must say.*

We just had a terrific and very short rainstorm with lightning that kept tripping the satellite and computer, but no thunder.

Okay, balloons have no part of a lightning storm, but I’ve been thinking about them, because my bestest-friend has invited me to come up to Lewiston (where she lives) and watch some balloon show. Now that I am writing about it, I realize don’t know a whole lot about this "balloon" thing, but I do remember the pictures she sent me last summer of the hot-air balloons. Guess I will have to get some more info on the event.

I do miss my girl-friend. I’ve written about her before, we actually met through our sons. I went up to pick up her son to spend the day at the beach with A. But he wasn’t home. But I did meet his mother, spent all day talking, and we’ve been bff’s since. (Even though she moved far away from me, and I don’t get to see her very much.)

She was the type of friend that I could call up at 1:00 in the morning, drunk off my ass, and tell that my husband was being an asshole, and she would get up and come up and get me to spend the night at her house. Or, I could get out of work at 11:00 at night, and drop in to see her. Now that’s gone, and I miss it terribly.

But when she lived 5 miles from my house, and she was dropping by at all hours without notice, I did get a little testy, and told her to stop that. It seems that I don’t really love something until it is gone…..

Take A. All my sense of control has been tossed aside and kicked to the curb. But last night, on the way to work, I vowed to "let go" – especially of his belongings – I think that I was holding his stuff "hostage". Very juvenile, I know, but that what I was feeling and doing. (True confessions of a controlling housewife.) (Oh no, now it’s "domestic engineer").

Well, could I still be considered a stay-at-home-mom if one of my children hated me so bad that he had to move out? Dilemma.

Okay, I’m getting ready to end this entry and go into my room and watch "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit." (See, that’s a perfect example of my non-grammar skills – does the quotation marks come first or the period?) And the funny thing is, I started to go to college for an English degree, but a breakdown forced me to give it up.

*Ten random things about me:

I want to be a writer.

I have had 32 poems published.

I wish I was skinnier.

I hate my face.

I can crochet quite fast.

I don’t follow directions very well.

I get lost a lot.

I get mad instead of upset.

I wrote a novel while I was in high-school (free hand)

and I have yet to "fix" it.

Night all.

I like squeezy cheesey right from the package. I squeeze it into my mouth and skip the tacos.

I love the 10 random things about YOU: BUT – they could just as easily apply to me too! How about that? Oh – except my face. I like my body and my face! When I was 43 I was a size 10. Too thin, too miserable! I am now Older & qa size 16. I love being full-bodied & my husband adores it too! Czah!

Sometimes improvising with non-typical ingredients makes food better. That’s how Chefs do it!
