I was sitting here trying to read my latest book from the library, but my husband is outside working on his bird, and playing some music really loud – so it’s a little hard to concentrate on reading. I cleaned the entire house this morning, and I have just one load of wash left before everything is done–I surprised Kevin because I rarely clean that well and also because the Lamaze teacher said something about a burst of energy like that before you were ready to go into labor. I’m not really worried, I have been having contractions for 4 or 5 days now, but they have been painless, and I have only had really very few (I was told to call Dr. B if I had more than 5 contractions in an hour), but that hasn’t happened yet, so we’re safe. The other night when Kevin + I were coming home from the fair, Aaron kicked my ribs (in there abouts) so hard that I couldn’t breathe, and I felt like I had to upchuck – that was really uncomfortable. I wonder what labor will be like?!
