diamond patterned afghan
I made K an afghan back a few years ago, with his favorite color green + variegated brown. The old thing has finally reached the point of "no repair" – I didn’t even dare to wash it for fear that it would fall apart. So, today I started taking apart the old afghan, and using the yarn to make a new afghan. I couldn’t find the pattern that I used for his old one, so I rooted around until I found a similar one.
And, you may ask me – what are you making him a new afghan for? Well, I’m just that kind of wife.
Or I don’t like sharing my blankets with anyone.
You’ve known me long enough – what do YOU think my motives are?
Anyway – C was home sick from school today, and I spent my entire day sitting on the bed, watching Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and taking apart his afghan and crocheting the new one.
Have to see p-doc (ha ha, no pun intended) Wednesday, because every night since I started the Trazodone, when I cough at night, I wet myself, and this is the FIRST time anything like this has happened. And, too, it is very embarrassing for a 39 year old woman to piss the bed.
I think it’s gonna be an early night. I have eaten NOTHING all day (except my iced tea), and I’m still not hungry, so gonna get as many miles of this mood as I can.
Tattoo is healing well. It is to the itching stage, and old ink is coming off to make way for the new ink. (That sounds really retarded, but I don’t know any other way to say it.) Was determined that the Jergen’s lotion that I am using to keep the tattoo moisturized is the culprit in giving me the red dots, just an allergic reaction.
Dont worry about the ‘incontinence,’ just wear Period pads, saves getting your knickers or the bedsheets wet. It’s OK, It happens to all the best people at one time or another. Actually, when you reach your mid 50’s you may decide to wear them all the time, for various reasons! Czah!

I’ve wanted to get a tattoo for so long now but I’m so paranoid about finding a GOOD tattooist, a clean office, sterile equipment and one who doesn’t specialize in bikers, LOL! We have one here in town who is well-known with the bikers and he’s ROUGH from what I’ve heard from non-biker friends who go there. I don’t want that, LOL! I have a high pain tolerance but I’ve never had a tat before so Idon’t know what to expect. My whole family is inked up and they’re pointing out what parts of the body hurt worse, LOL!

And oddly enough, I have a friend who takes Trazadone and the same sort of thing happened to her. She was only 32, tho. So you’re definitely not alone!
