I didn’t feel then, what I do now

It was exciting, a real adventure

It was something new (not to mention)

A real attention getter, another life

"The grass is always greener on the other side."

I thought what it was, was really pleasing

But was it for the right reasons?

What does he mean to me? Do I care?

Is how I’m treating him really fair?

Can he handle it, will he stay?

Or will he just walk away?
