A Day Off…Finally…

Wow..I finally had a day off…like 2 weeks in a row straight. It was nice to relax at home today, it felt nice to kick up my feet and relax..ah yeah baby thats the life. I went out for a lil while today..it was a real nice day today and it felt good to get some sunshine and fresh air. Went to the doc to see about my elbow again..fuckin hurts like a motherfucker..so I got some meds for that so I should be ok in a couple of weeks. I just took my meds a lil while ago and its working already..my arm feels much better already. Just gotta keep takin my meds when I’m supposed to and I should be ok. Tomorrow is Game 4 of our series with the Ducks…workwise I’m not lookin forward to the looneys, assholes and drunken idiots…but otherwise I want the Oilers to win..big time exciting stuff…gotta love hockey! I gotta be in early again and of course I’ll be taking my seat right by the plasma tv with hot wings ready to eat…hehe 🙂 It will be pandemonium tomorrow and we will be super busy if we win…it will be nice once the hockey season is over then I can go back to enjoying the days off I’m supposed to have. Well…this was short and sweet…I will return soon..Basta.

EDIT – I had forgotten to mention…I saw and heard the most coolest thing ever. Before the game started the national anthems were sung and when it came to the Canadian national anthem…it just blew me away! The guy singing it got a quarter of the way thru our anthem when the crowd got soooo loud singing it, he held the mike in the air and let the crowd sing and finish singing our national anthem. It was awesome…talk about big time patriotism, pride and inspiration…u could feel the chill go up and down yer spine..thats how awesome it was. I have never seen anything like that…and it made me so damn proud to be Canadian. Its something I will never forget. The True North Strong and Free..all the way baby. 🙂
