OMG…Oilers Win!!!

HOLY SHIT!!! WE WON TONITE!!! The Edmonton Oilers beat the Detroit Red Wings tonite 4 games to 2!!! The Red Wings were the best team in the NHL..they even won the Presidents Trophy for being the best team to finish the regular season…and we beat them!! I watched the first 2 periods at home then I went to work during the 2nd intermission. We were down 2-0 for two periods…then the Oilers poured it on and we came back to win the game 4-3. I was watching the last period on the big screen at work..there were about 30 people watching the game in the lounge when I got there. I ordered some hot wings and watched the game…the place went nuts when we scored…and when Edmonton scored with a couple of minutes in the game to give them the lead..the whole lounge side exploded…hi-5’s & cheers all around the bar. I was cheering loud and jumping in my seat..then when the final horn sounded the bar exploded again and we went nuts. I watched the TV and Rexall Place was goin berzerk..it was AWESOME. After a lil while Whyte Avenue was filled with people..celebrating big time…it was crazy…the cops had to block off the whole entire avenue…it was pandemonium. I went to the corner to check it out and man it was absolutely crazy. Even when I was standing out in front of the bar I could hear all the cheering..the bar is a block south of Whyte Avenue and it was loud…people all over the place. The bar got busy real fast…we only had 4 bouncers on and the bar was full. There were a few skirmishes but that was it…the main bar broke the sales record too..they sold a lot of booze tonite..totally crazy. I was real happy that we won tonite…I’m just wondering who we play in the next round..should be a good match up. Anyhow..this ends here..I will return…Basta!!
