My cousin thinks you’re hot

 I had a date tonight with this guy one of my co worker friend set me up with. It was nice.. we went out to a big park and put a blanket on the grass, sat and talked for two hours. I don’t feel anything for him nor do I see him in that light. We have a lot in common and he’s kind of funny, I can tell he’s holding back a little because it is the 2nd time we’ve met, only. Anyways… in between AA texted me asking me "What’s for dinner, what do you feel like eating, wanna grab dinner together?"

My heart started racing and I told this guy that I had to go home now. So he drove me home and I said goodbye, no kiss no hug no nothing. 

I texted AA to tell him to come over and within minutes he was here. We went to eat dinner and I had such an awesome time with him. We laughed, joked! I decided to pay today and he was all like "You’re gonna pay it today?!" I smiled and then he’s acting all excited, raising his arms and stuff saying "I feel like I’m on a date!!" haha it was cute. During dinner, he’s like "have some of my fries" I told him, I will later. He grabs a fry, dips it in cheese and feeds it to me "No, you have one now" Sweet. 

We got done eating dinner then I mentioned I want ice cream or frozen yogurt so as promised, he took me there. We had yogurt and he said I can have anything I want and he’ll just share from me. I thought that was so cute! I love when he shares with me, makes me feel nice that we’re comfortable enough with each other like that. 

While we’re sitting eating froyo, he’s like "My cousin thinks you’re hot" I didn’t know what that meant, why is he telling me this? How do I respond? so I’m like "Yeah, I’m hot in the summer, cold in the winter…" He starts laughing.

We got out and he drove me home, we sat in my parking lot..
"Let’s have a bonfire" 
Me: "Okay. sure"
"Who should we invite?"
Me: "Um, Idk…" (I’m thinking why is he asking me, it’s his house lol)
So he names a bunch of people and I’m like cool. 
"You can bring a friend too I guess"
Me: "Oh, I’m invited?! haha"
"So when should we have it? Friday or Saturday?"
Me: "Friday! I won’t be able to come saturday if you have it cause I have to bake a cake"
"I want to have it saturday! Why don’t you bring the cake stuff and bake it at my house?!"
Me: "Um no! I’ll bring you left over cake stuff and you can eat it!"
"why don’t you make me a cake?!"
Me: "I will on your birthday! hahah next year! cause it passed!"
"I never tell anyone my birthday.. how do you know?"
Me: "I just know.."
"Oh.. from before?" (he seemed shocked 🙂 a good shock lol I think ) 
Me: "Yep!"
 

So he’s actually serious about this! Let’s see if it goes through, I’ll be surprised. I was sitting in his car and I just felt like he didn’t want me to leave. But I wasn’t for sure because maybe he’s just being polite and not kicking me out or maybe he wants to actually sit with him some more. 

I got out the car and he’s giving me this look. I didn’t know what it was about "Don’t look at me like that" I said jokingly. He continues looking. "Goodnight, farewell" I say to him and I walk away. 

I felt wanted. by him. 
The only reason today seems like a good day is that I saw him. I need him to realize my worth because I’m done chasing. I told him how I feel and now it’s his decision to do whatever… 

Tonight made me a little hopeful though, a little excited, a little giddy, butterflies and all 🙂
