Nicolina you gave me the best present ever….YOU

My Nicolina calls me to touch base on how WE were going to celebrate her sisters birthday and how WE were going to celebrate ThanksGiving …

My response to her holding back the tears were … these holidays coming up are going to be so hard for me to get through … I dont want to celebrate them without Austin.

She told me that a ThanksGiving without our dinner wouldnt be ThanksGiving and she wanted the three of us… me and my two daughters to prepare the dinner together like we use too.   She made me so happy … my 1st born .. my girl was picking up what I had taught her.  I really needed her to say those words.  We figured the day after ThanksGiving would work best for us all… and we all made sure we had the day off.

This will be a special day … it sure will be for me … my daughters and I will be together carrying on a tradition that we had repeated for 23 years…. and the most beautiful part is that my Nicolina is keeping it alive.

I love you so much for doing this and making me get beyond the pain of the holiday.
