A Shade Darker than Pale

**NOTE TO READERS** Sorry, I forgot to specify… wrong Mike. It’s my best friend, GAY Mike that I went to Florida with… so, no, no hookup. Mike Minor is in Missouri… ***

I did it! I actually got a TAN this time! Being Irish, getting a tan is about as easy teaching a cat to respond when you call it’s name. I had so much fun in Florida. It wasn’t action packed, but totally relaxing. I read four books, all by poolside, during my 9 days down there. It was just what I needed.

Anywho- this entry is just so I can document all the new inside jokes between me and Mike… so, in otherwords, everyone out there in OD world really won’t understand it… but… here goes:

– ::Mike being attacked by a dragonfly in Disney World:: ::Pocahontas walks by:: “It won’t eat you.” “Ok, thanks Pocahontas!”

– ::dramatically presenting something, via Vanna White style:: “I bought you this…”

-“Would you still be my friend if….”

-“Mike, I’m hungry.” “I’m starving.”

-“My sunburned back is not as bad as the back of your legs.” (I couldn’t lay on my back for almost three days)

-::laying in bed, covered in aloe, two fans going, “It’s so freaking HOT IN HERE!”

-:: Mike pep talking:: “Liz, we’re almost home. Look! Aww, it’s the O’hare sign!”

– Midnight runs to the seven eleven for beef jerky.

– Liz, being the traffic/ turrentual downpour curse.

– “Liz, your boobs are so tan.”

And, of course, there are a million more. But, we drove staight through the night last night, and I have been up for 30 something hours, and it’s about time to pass out, and head back to the grind of working tomorrow. Wee hoo… at least I’m tan.

Oh, about pictures… we’ll see about tankini pictures. It was the sexiest little suit ever. Goodnight everyone!
