How Does it Feel In my Shoes?

So, I walked into work on Sunday night, hair looking cute, make up done, and ready for what Lauren was to tell me… of Mike Minor’s reaction.

I approached her, and just stared at her… “I couldn’t do it! I was nervous FOR you! I was afraid I would botch it up, and say the wrong thing!” So, I am still clueless on the situation. But, the flirting has definitely stepped up a notch (AKA- I am reading way too into this)

**Before I get into this: In order to create less confusion: My ROOMMATE Mike will always be Mikey, and the CRUSH Mike will either be just MIKE or MIKE MINOR.

Today, at work, a few of us had decided at the pre-shift meeting that we were going to get chinese food after work. The shift got started, and at one point, I walked down to talk to Mikey and Lauren. We some how got on the topic of how the Mexicans in the kitchen have no shame about looking any girl up and down that works there. So, Mike Minor decided to give an example, and started circling me, looking me up and down… I just stood there, like a fool, and giggled.

As the shift was winding down, we started getting all of our sidework done so we could get to the chinese restuarant before they closed (2:30- they take a siesta or something! Mikey asked Mike Minor if he was going to go with us. “Sure!” I was excited. Lauren told me I had to sit next to him, I told her he could do anything he wants.

Well, he sat next to me. We shared usual conversation, and joked, and yada yada yada. I hate this crush. I need to just get the guts up to ask him to hang out… but, how does one go about that without sounding corny or silly? Should I just say, “We should hang out sometime.” Or do I actually ask him to do a SPECIFIC something? Argh- I dunno. More news on the crush later… I work with him Wednesday morning, yippee 🙂
