Ive spent alot of years being
something im not
chasin a dream
cause I think its hot

circumstance and life has taught
me things
mothers cry
while angels sing

flying too soon
soaring with my make shift wings
dreaming
of what future flights might bring

Never quite
reaching the height
to truly soar
aint a nest to go back to any more
