Shoe update.

 Well, I wasn’t going to write anything yet since nothing much new has happened. But since I had a query…

I got stuck listening to sales guys till later at work and it was around 7pm before I got home.

My Fivefingers were there.  They look about like I expected.

The paper with them specifically says to try them on and walk around on clean carpet because they’ll only exchange them if they’re in new condition and they will pick up dust and dirt quickly.  So I walked around for like half an hour last night.

I *think* they’re right…  Sara tried them on and had issue with the toe feeling or something…  I found them quite comfortable in that respect.

There was almost something going on with my big toe/nail feeling pushed, but I think that seemed to resolve itself and be ok.

I did get some rubbing on the heel, but I Googled and it and apparently it’s pretty common and you just put some electrical tape or moleskin on your heel until they get used to it.

So I *think* they’re the right size, but didn’t really have enough time to feel confirmed.  Hopefully tonight I will verify one way or the other and actually get outdoors with them.  We’ll see.  At night when it’s like 6pm and I’ve gotten home not long after having biked 8 miles up 600′ of elevation and it’s getting near my bedtime I can feel a bit tired.  (:
