Sunday, No wait, Monday.

Yeah, oh and I forgot.  The lunch at the shower?  Stuffed chicken with skin and something like hollandaise sauce smothering it, mashed potatoes and green beans.  Oh, and salad that was literally drowning in oil.  I managed to eat all my green beans and left a bit of the chicken and potatoes, but still, I’m sure that was over 1000 calories there.

Monday?  We got up, left the beach house around 7, made it almost past the Boston area when we came up on an accident which was listed on a road sign earlier, but from the looks of it, All 3 lanes were backed up for miles.  Luckily we came up on it right near an exit and with the GPS it was easy to route around, especially since we were near the turnoff we wanted anyway, so we just cut the corner off of our trip basically.

Around 9 we finally found an Ihop and stopped for breakfast.  When we started the trip, I was pretty committed to trying to be decent with my calories, but I was awfully tired Monday and just hoped that a real breakfast would help, especially since Mom seemed to want something other than just a Kashi bar.  And we have no Ihop’s closer than about 120 miles from us.  I had some awesome Danish Crepes with blueberries, and then one of Mom’s pancakes.  (why do they serve a 3 stack of pancakes with an omellette?

Then around 1 we stopped for gas.  Prius is so awesome for that trip.  You can make the whole 460 mle trip, plus another like 30 miles, and then fill up 10 gallons.  Even in Mass, where common speeds are 80-90mph instead of the usual 70mph.

Was still tired at lunch and just didn’t care as much and got the steakhouse sandwich at Arby’s with homestyle fries and a banana split shake.

Made it home around 4pm.  Though we didn’t end up actually eating dinner, so it wasn’t that bad of a day calorie wise as it could have been, but still, seems like it’s taking a while this week to get back to the weight I saw last week, but not too bad…

Tuesday?  I guess was pretty normal…  Don’t remember a whole lot…

Wednesday must be yesterday…  We had our travel agents stop over.   Apparently they have no clue on how to get places, or more to the point how long it will take or how far it is.  They were supposed to be here at 2 and didn’t get here till after 3.  Somehow they thought we were about 50 miles closer than we are…  How can you not look that up before leaving?  Anyway, I ended up staying until a quarter after 6 at work.

Today?  We shall see if stupid stain guy actually gets anything done on the house…  I will be utterly freaking amazed if the house actually looks right when I get home tonight…

Oh, and I need to check with the lawyer and see when we think this closing might happen on the lake property…

I keep seeing mention of this stain guy and he doesn’t seem to be doing a good job at all. UGH!

ryn: In Michigan you get 80%, so not too bad. And I’ve got enough savings to go for about six months without that anyway.

ryn: Hmm… I seem to think I remember people I know getting more than that. I think I’ll have to call around.

That food sounds pretty good. 🙂 Chicken is my favourite meat anyhow.

Sounds like you had a very busy weekend! The crepes and blueberries sound like the perfect breakfast. 🙂 Sure hope your stain guy gets some work done. ~

RYN: Down in Whoville? 😉 Funny you say that, I’ve done some amateur acting in the past (high school plays, Vagina Monologues, etc). I would love to be in England, filming with the drop-dead gorgeous Matt Smith… but even more than that, I want to see him interact with Karen Gillan. 😀 Their chemistry is mind-blowing!

I love crepes! Jealous! haha I never quite got why places like IHOP did that: pancakes AND omelettes together. It’s like they’re trying to make America fatter. =/
