Snow Models

Ahh…  Well, we do have some snow.  But it’s not that bad.  It’s kind of nice and refreshing actually.  But only because that’s my mood and that’s how I’m taking it.  I’ve already heard from my mother how she does not like it.  (:

The snow also reminds me why every winter the Prius list starts getting a bunch of people saying "The Prius is worst car I’ve ever had in the snow!"  Yeah.  And as I always say.  It’s not the Prius, it’s the tires.  Same as any car.  With my snow tires I can drive through more than 6" of snow without issue, only spinning if I try.  Now, I’ve got my stock tires back on.  There’s only a dusting of snow on the road and it’s fine, but…  Yeah, coming to a stop and the ABS is kicking in and then starting out again and the traction control is kicking in to keep from spinning much.

Now let’s rewind.

Yesterday…  Monday…

Worked for the usual part of the morning.  I think I made some progress.  Then headed over for my free redbox rental and got a few groceries.

Got home, had some lunch, caught up on Castle, Dollhouse and Terminator.  All very good episodes.  I hadn’t heard of Castle until last week when TRS (Totally Rad Show) mentioned it because Nathan Fillion was in it.  And I just love him.  Actually, I realize more than anything else what I love in that show is the relationship of his character with his daughter.  I can dream about having that sort of relationship one day.  Though I do love the rest of the show as well.  But it is definitely Nathan that makes the show.

After that I did some Rock Band 2.  I haven’t been doing that as much, and when I’m not, I feel like I don’t necessarily want to all that much, but when I do start playing it, I really get into it and enjoy it and I guess just forget that I miss it.  It definitely helps me destress.

Then I went out for a few minutes before Sara came home and cleaned up a bit more brush from the yard.

Sara came home, and we watched Role Models Yeah, this was a PLEASANT surprise.  Another movie I figured would just be eh…  I REALLY liked it.  Don’t get me wrong, there is a LOT of bad language in it.  Like probably every minute.  But it is REALLY funny(or at least I think so).  And they did a good job of getting me emotionally attached.  There’s one scene (the climax really) near the end where they tie like 3 different semi-major pieces from earlier in the movie together as they arrive at this tournament and it just had me going crazy in both humor and feel-goodness.  (:

Today I am better.  (:

Hope you are too!  (:

It is the tires! And I loved Role Models. I thought that movie was hilarious. I especially liked the part where they’re talking to the leader of the organization and she’s talking about all the CRACK she used to do. So funny!

ryn: haha I know a lot of girls that are like that. I am however, not one of them. I will listen and laugh with guys or girls about sex topics. I just won’t contribute that much detail to the discussion. 🙂

I’ve heard of several people who were suprised by how much they liked Role Models–I’ll have to rent it. I’ve been wanting to try renting over itunes-perhaps its time to try it 🙂 Glad the tires are holding up. Snow has to finish soon!!
