still alive

hey there boys, girls, and those with a little of both. yes, im still here, and i am supremely sorry for my extended absence, but quite honestly i have nothing much to talk about. yes, football is starting again, but this season is…different somehow. perhaps the bittersweet knowledge that in all actuality the end of this season will be the last time i set foot on the battlefield is dampening my spirits, i dont yet know. but once i do, im sure i’ll have a speech typed out that would make ben stein proud. (in case you were wondering, he was a speech writer for the presedent some years back).

otherwise things are going rather normally: work sucks, money’s tight, can hardly move without mass doses of IBprofin. on the upside my dad’s disability went through, turns out im qualified for some government moolah to use for college. if i did my substandard math right, then it should just about pay for my freshman year, assuming i get into lacrosse. but that’s another story i’d rather not talk about at 2:40 am.

again, i am really really sorry this is so short, and that i’ve been gone for so long, but think of it this way: im overdue for another epifiny (sp?) and when it hits, it’ll come with the force of last night’s trip to taco bell.
