No Snappy Title This Morning
Woke up late and missed church this morning, I hate that. This was my last sunday off for three weeks.
When I got home, Brian told me that there was a SWAT situation on the next street over, and Brad was present. Someone pulled a gun and fired a bullet into the air and then ran into the house. Swat was on scene for two hours and arrested the man for reckless conduct. It was unclear if Brad had any involvment or was just present. At this point I don’t want to know because it will make me a nervous wreck either way.
Not feeling too well this morning, that may be why I overslept. It was a beast at work the last two days with the new duties added to the old. I have to find a way to balance things out without the exhaustion, lol.
Going to get up, shower and clean house for a bit while Brian sleeps, then figure something fun to do with him for the day. It will be stretching my very tight budget, but I think we may go to a sunday matinee and lunch somewhere at least. Brian has been a rock through all the trials with his older brother, and he deserves a bit of TLC for his efforts. Here is a recent photo of Brian, taken by his girlfirend. It’s an interesting angle, and I love it because it’s so hard to get him to actually smile for the camera.
What a handsome boy! You are such a great father. Keep on doing your best; that’s all any of us can do. Prayers are still coming your way. 🙂

Have you heard of geocaching? If not you can check it out at http://www.geocaching.com It’s fun. My husband and I enjoy doing it. It’s relaxing and a good way to spend time together. You and your son might enjoy it. If you have a GPS and/or a smart phone where you can download the app you won’t be out anything really other than the gas to get to the caches. Hope you enjoy your day.
