Just Stopping By

Nothing going on this morning, I just thought you guys might enjoy a good snicker.  And this, my children, is why spelling and grammar are always important.

MID-DAY UPDATE:  Well, I spoke to soon about nothing interesting going on this week.  I opened a letter from the mail this morning.  It was handwritten in print, not script, numerous mispellings, including my name, advising me that I have ten days to vacate my property so the new owners can take possession.  It was from my wife’s sister of course.  She claimed that they had sued me for possession of  the property and that they have been awarded ownership of my home and land (spelled home and lend).  I did a quick check of the county court to make absolutely sure, and nothing has ever been filed by them.  When they were evicted in August they  claimed they owned the property.  They never owned it, we bought it outright 13 years ago from her in-laws, and the judge ruled in my favor, of course.  They were given thirty days to appeal, and did not do so because they had no grounds to sue.  I started to scan and post the letter for your viewing pleasure, but the photo above is funny enough.  The text of the letter with accompanying mispellings is as follows, keep in mind a 39 year old woman wrote this letter:

"Dear Mr. Frazeir (Frazier),

This leter is to inform you that you have been sued for poseson of your property.  The home and lend now belong to Michael and Tina Shoemake, and you have ten days to vacat the property.  If you do not do so, the police have informed us that you may be removed by any means necsary".

Now I feel bad about the girl in the message above.  Comparatively speaking, we have a Rhodes scholar on our hands, lol.  This is probably the first time this woman has managed to get a chuckle out of me in years.  I know that laughing at her and her total lack of….well everything resembling common sense and basic education….is wrong, but honestly.

I’m going to go now, because my comments are bordering on meaness where they are concerned, and that’s giving them too much space in my head, even if it’s not anger related.  Going to take a walk in the sunshine while we have it and enjoy my afternoon.  Take care.

LOL – priceless! Because usually when there’s a court order it comes in the form of a handwritten letter with massive misspellings. Be sure to let us know where you end up after you’ve been evicted! LOL

And you didn’t rent the moving vans??? 🙂

It is a shame that you have to go through this trouble with relatives. And sadder still that she hasn’t a clue as to her ignorance. But you are handling it well!
