Online Poker and Literary Abortions
For the past couple of days, I’ve been hooked on online poker. Playing for fun is great online. I don’t like downloading poker software, so I’ve been playing at bravotv.com. There’s nothing like bluffing the hell out of someone for a large pot. Let me take that back. If I were playing for real money, that will be the equivalent of an instant orgasm.
My novel for nanowrimo is coming along better than I thought. It was tough diving in there with a loose outline, not knowing what’s going to happen next. The hour before I actually started was the hardest part because I know that what I’m writing is going to be a piece of crap. Before this, I have only written one short crappy story for an english course in college. It would have been better if I actually cared. Now I somewhat care. My goal is to write a story of which I’m completely devoted. No more literary abortions for me!!!
It’s been weeks since I’ve called Borders. It’s time that I call them up. Cuz I need a job.
