Easy, Breezy Beautiful Covergirl!
My sleeping schedule is completely off, but it’s not going to be hard to fix it. Still haven’t told my mother about going to Barnes and Noble for a job interview. Even though she’s not the powerful and scary person that I remember from when I was little, that memory still holds a bit of power over me. It’s pathetic that I’m a 21 year old that still lives with her mom, and has to report everything I do to her. Sometimes I think that it’s my own insecurities keeping me back from taking a step toward a vague goal and way of life. However, this isn’t upsetting to me. I’m just trying to objectively look at my life right now. Thank goodness I’m still young enough to make a turn around.
Didn’t go to sleep last night. I wanted to be able to go with my mom to put minutes on her phone as well as go to the CVS. There was supposed to be a great beauty product sale there, but it was only on the beauty products that weren’t really selling that well. The trip to CVS was a much needed one because I needed to prepare for the interview. There’s no need to go to an interview with blotched pasty skin. ( I must be the only black person who get’s pasty skin when they don’t have a light complexion .)
In the past , I have tried Revlon and L’Oreal with bad results. So this time I decided to go with Covergirl! The first mistake made was getting the Tawny long lasting foundation. When I got home and tried it, it was way to dark for my skin. Lipstick wise I made a good choice in getting Spiced Raisin long lasting lipstick. Then I bought the Translucent Honey Professional Loose Powder. It’s great!!!! I finally get the old glow I used to have. I used my mom’s Covergirl Trueblend Classic Tan foundation. It’s a little light on my skin, but with the loose powder, it looks great. The store didn’t have the invisible concealer, so I may have to venture into different CVS as well as other stores to look for it. I also bought the four eyeshadow thingy called Urban something, shimmering onyx eyeshadow, a french manicure/pedicure kit from Sally Hansen, tweezers, and an eyeliner brush.
I splurged because I wanted to be motivated to go to the interview. I want to go and present the person that I want to be.
Peace, Love, and Furi Kuri!
