I’m back
All that I can say about the absence is the fact that my mom loves the Sims2 now. Other than that I was too lazy to write about my birthday weekend. Here’s the lowdown on my birthday weekend: I visited friends on Saturday for a dinner and a movie. We had a great dinner. V cut her long hair over the summer, so it was shocking to see it short. Anyway, I couldn’t drink a glass of wine because V and T were underaged. T had to leave early, and it was obvious that we weren’t going to make the showing of the Exorcism of Emily Rose. After going to their dorm, V had to go to her cousin’s birthday party that night. J1 and S really wanted to go clubbing, but I wasn’t in the mood. So we went to Halo which is a gay male bar. Sooooo many hot men that I had no chance to even flirt with . Later on in the night, when we were about to leave, this girl asked J1 if S and I were a couple. J1 said no, and the girl asked if I was on the bi or lesbian. Apparently I was looking super cute. Woo hoo ! I’m appealing again, soared through my mind. So my ego was stroked!
I was supposed to go home that night, but it was late and tipsy. S, J1, and I went to Dominoes (everything in DC closes around 2am or 3am tops). S and I had some buffalo wings, and I went to the CVS to get some twizzlers. The next day I wasn’t hung over. My stomach was upset instead. Oh yeah, I had a midori sour and a cherry blossom (sake, sprite, and some cherry colored stuff) . On Sunday, my mom couldn’t figure out that I got nicely drunk the day before.
There was an ad in the Washington City Paper online talking about Barnes and Noble hiring in all it’s DC stores. All I have to do is show up on Saturday morning for an on the spot interview. Maybe it’s time for me to go on with my life. Maybe I should get driving lessons from my mom.
Peace, Love, and Furi Kuri!
