Yet another epiphany
Last Monday there was a marathon of Lauren Bacall movies, but I was able to catch the last forty five minutes of one and a full other movie called " A Man With a Horn" or something like that. (It’s sad that I’m too lazy to look it up on imdb.com) She plays an intellegent, but messed up wife of the protagonist trumpet player. They get into a heated argument where she says that she is jealous of him because she can’t chose one area in life in which to excel. Then he looks at her and said that the only reason she can’t do only one thing but many things, but she limits herself.
That struck me. I try to concentrate in one goal, and then I start on another goal. I want to concentrate on one goal only. Then I thought why can’t I just multitask everything. Honestly I haven’t thought of it that way before.
If you can’t tell, I am writing while extremely sleeping. I’ve been awake since last Tuesday afternoon, and now it’s almost eleven in the morning.
Peace, Love, and Furi Kuri!
[edit: Random geek moment of the day, do you know that the guy who does the voice of spongebob did some episodes of Dilbert. There’s nothing like late night toons on Comedy Central!]
