bliss 2: the wedding of our dreams

Not much time for a real full length entry (alright, alright, I heard that sigh of relief, I know I’m incredibly verbose and someday I will learn to use fewer words…).

The wedding was completely beautiful. In so many ways.

The church had beautiful Christmas decorations, which just worked so well, and I’m so glad we didnt try to do flowers for the church as there would have been no room for them. And nobody even noticed that we didnt spend money there.

I’m so very happy to say my dress was so gorgeous. The few pictures I’ve seen taken by friends and family are amazing – it looks stunning, and I look so completely happy. Our photographer will be sending photos to us in about a week.

The shawl was also very stunning. I am so very happy with what I wore. K is also completely happy about how I looked – he said it was gorgeous and very me, he was so proud.

I finally got to tell him about the choices I made on the dress, and how I chose fabric and design, and also all about the bridal train. and how very hard it was to not be able to ask him for help. he was so very glad I decided against the bridal train. I told him about how the bridal salon helped me on that decision – that by trying on a lace jacket train there, I realized it just covered my beautiful dress and I didnt want that after all. He absolutely loves the shawl, and especially that it is something I can wear again. It will look so stunning with any dress I wear it with.

The dress was just perfect – I felt so very elegant in it, I danced up a storm in it, and got so very many compliments on it. It glowed with a beautiful silk sheen and was so soft.

the wedding was beautiful. K was beautiful. being surrounded by dear friends and family was so perfect.

everyone keeps saying how very right we are for each other, and what a beautiful and loving couple we are. they say we are good for each other, and it’s so very true.

the reception was just gorgeous, we loved it so much. and were so very happy. it was a beautiful, beautiful day.

we are back from the honeymoon, and are adjusting to real life. much to write about the real life stuff we came home to, but for now, just a quick review on our pretty wedding.

I am so happy. 🙂 we loved everything about our wedding.
