Only Time is Ours/The Rest/We’ll Just Wait and See
I crept into Mister’s office <where he was half asleep watching Peaky Blinders> leaving both dogs dozing on the couch and crawled up against him as quietly and quickly as I possibly could, since wherever I go, Vicious Dog is close behind trying to walk on my legs and guts to snuggle.
‘And that’s how summer passed
The great dividing rains the
Green green grass
Maybe it was
Peace at last
Who knew’
After not enough minutes of peace, we hear him coming and I whisper
. ;oh no — he’s found us;
And Mister whispers
. ;shhhhhh! He’ll know we’re here. Don’t move. Stop giggling;
. I silently wrack with laughter
. ;They can locate you even by silent
. giggling.
. ;God, it’s like playing hide and seek
. with a toddler. You find them a hiding
. place and set them up and they just
. sit back there laughing.
. ;Shhhhhh!;
Vicious Dog grumbles from the floor like a frustrated hunting dinosaur and, already streaming with tears, I break out into cackles.

Hello, love
The thistle and the burr oh’

I love the set up of how you did this entry…very original
@jaythesmartone It’s harder to do in the new format, but I’m figuring out how to get the spacing and flow I used to
