Changes

Yeah, so just as I was saying that I had two jobs I lose one-and for a really stupid reason to say the least. I needed one morning shift off for my internship and they basically "let me go" because I would be short 15 hours a week by an hour and a half!! While I think it’s BS that they can just fire someone for something like that I’m happy that I don’t have to wake my happy ass up in the morning and I really do enjoy my extra two hours of sleep.

It still pisses me off though and they went about the whole thing wrong, first of all they told me in the morning before my shift and then expected me to stay until this week Tuesday-yeah right! I didn’t even finish up my shift there at all I was so upset. I spent the hour and a half of my shift crying and saying goodbye to the kids because I know I’m going to miss them. Then I basically got up and left. Ok, think about it this way-if you were going to "let someone go" but you wanted them to work for you a while longer wouldn’t you tell them after their shoft was over?? Hello! How could they not expect me to leave after telling me that?!  Alright now that I got that off my chest something happened to me during my other job yesterday that has been bothering me.

Three of my other coworkers and I all got together to have some coffee and one of the residents came up to be and asked me what I was drinking. Without thinking I told him that I had coffee and jokingly asked him if he wanted some. Well he thought I was being serious and took the straw I was drinking out of and put it in his mouth (it was an iced coffee so yes I was drinking it out of a straw), One of my coworkers looked at me and said "I would never let a resident drink out of my cup". But it was kind of too late to stop him so I took the straw out and threw it away. It was stupid on  my part to ask him if he wanted any. I feel like an idiot, especially because my job fires people for stupid shit like that. I know one girl got fired because she fell asleep for a few minutes (no warning, no nothing).  So I’m kind of worried about that.
