School is finally out for the kids.  It’s so much later up here.  They all ended up doing well.  Matt got a lot of awards at his fith grade "promotion", including a Presidential award along with a pin.   AJ made the honor roll (I had no idea he was even doing his work).  Erin is reading above her grade level.  I guess the move for them wasn’t bad after all.

I’m supposed to be looking for a second job, but instead I’m out and about with the kids.  Right now we’re at the library so I thought I’d jump online for a second.  I’m glad the kids are getting older so I can leave them alone for longer periods of time.  It’s still killing me though.  I usually look forward to summer vacation.  Not this year.  They will be even more bored than usual.

Things are pretty rough right now.  I keep trying to think positive, but it’s extremely hard.  I’m really so close to my breaking point that it would only take one more thing to push me over.  Life is grand isn’t it?

I’m off to the mall and then I’ll jump into putting in apps.

Bye.

It’s always good to see an entry from you! Congratulations on the kids doing so well! That is something to be proud of! I just spent 5 days down on the coast in Biloxi/Gulfport area, I couldnt find words to describe the devastation. I feel for everyone touched by Katrina. I have many heroes now, those affected and starting over again to make a life for themselves. You are among those!

Glad the kids are doing well. I am concerned about the second job thing? Is your first one full time? It would be really tough with two jobs and three kids… something would suffer…

I am glad that the move ended up being good for the kids & their studies…I remember how rough it use to be for them. I wish the state you’re living-in wasn’t so expensive, but at least it’s not MI where unemployment is the highest in the country and they tax people in an ungodly manner. Do take care of you, okay?
