Merry Christmas!

I haven’t been able to get online in awhile.  I’m at the mall so thought I’d drop by the gaming place and get online for a minute.

Things are getting better, although I’ve been extemely sick for over a month now.   Got a little better after being on antibiotics, but that didn’t last long. 

I have been training the last week in a different Sam’s club.  I changed positions from Advantage Coordinator to Accounting Team Lead. Woohoo! I can’t do this job either lol.  Sales just wasn’t for me, although I was doing well at it.  I just pray I can learn all this accounting crap before I start at my store a week from now.  I’m also going to be team leader so I make my teams schedule and do reviews on them and crap like that.  Scary stuff.

People here are so amazing.   The generosity (doesn’t look like it’s spelled right, but I don’t care) is so very heart warming.  I hate that because we’re "Katrina Victims" and "homeless" (that’s what the schools call us),  people feel the need to give us stuff.  I am so very thankful though.  It shows that people can still be caring in these days of death and destruction.

(If one more person says anything about us being "displaced", "victims", "homeless" or anything else to do with what happened, I think I might just scream until my eyes pop out.  I just want to live my life.  It happened, it happened to countless others and it’s over.  We all need to move on!)

Tonight we’re going to my sister’s for dinner and to open presents.  The kids are there now cuz she wanted to bake cookies with them.  It’s nice not having them around for a few hours. 

We still don’t have a place to live, but that will be changing within the next few weeks.  Long story and I don’t care to get into it right now.
