There are so many things I’ve wanted to write about, but just haven’t felt like writing.  I probably won’t get to them all right now, either.

Tomorrow we are going back to Beverly’s house. She got her power back on this afternoon.  She’s so very excited.  She kept asking me if I was excited.  Sure.  I’m going to your house, not mine.  I am happy though.  Bobbie (the other sister we’ve all been staying with) has been so amazing.  It will be a week tomorrow that we’ve been here.  I want her to get back to her life.

We didn’t get to go home today to check things out.  We have no car.  My nephew said he thought Beverly said she’d take us.  She did.  I guess just not today.  I don’t know what we’re going to do.  The ex live in sister’s b/f went by our apartment, but couldn’t get in because the hubby locked a lock on the door that he doesn’t have a key for.  I still have no idea about my cats.   I hear there are places that will go get your animals for you.  Even break in to do it.  I just worry about that.  Everyone tells me they are fine.  What ever.

We stood in line today for food stamps.  Don’t know why they call it that.  They give you a little card, like a debit card.  It was weird seeing all the people there.  People in really nice cars with really nice clothes. Like normal, I suppose lol.  But these people were just needing help because they lost a lot.  With us, it helps so we can save our cash for other things and with the hubby not working, it will really help.   Funny, we got more more for food from them than we normally spend a for food in a month.

I guess that’s it for now.  I can’t wait to get back to some sore of a normal existance.  I just have no idea when that will be.

Bye.

(((Hugs))) it’s about the least the gov’t can do. I’m trying to be hopeful that we have some sort of super-keen mega-push for Habitat for Humanity, on a grand (for lots of folks) scale. Eh, maybe it can be in a few different states, so people can have a bit of a choice? Or eh, *something*. I hope some sense of normalcy happens soon. Take care of you!! ~Lys

It’s great that money is getting through to you. I always worry that the charity take a bit of a cut for “admin”. Poor you worrying about your kittys, I hope someone gets to them soon.

Eventually things will turn around and you’ll be back to the house and your hubby will be working again. For now take all the help you can get and keep your chin up and head high.

Good to see you’re alive. We’re alive, too, but it’s a long story. I’ll tell it to you when I can. Take care. L

IT may be more food, but you’ll probably be starting from scratch. So you’ll need atleast SOME extra. I really hope your kitties are ok.. 🙁
