We’re alive and well. I am so totally thankful for that. My sister Beverly’s house came out without any damage at all, but we did lose power and water. So yesterday we packed up again and all moved to my other sister’s house. The hubby and I are trying to figure out what to do as we can not stay here for as long as we’re hearing we’ll have to. Not having a car is making things even more aggrivating. No one hear understands what my kids are and have gone through this past week. None of them have. All I’ve asked is that I be able to take them to a store or mall or even freaking McDonald’s and you’d think I was cursing them out. They don’t understand that my kids don’t complain. They haven’t complained at all througout this whole thing and have been so amazingly well behave. They have been couped up for five days now. Just because they are playing in the back yard doesn’t mean they are happy.
We’ve heard from everyone except the ex live in sister’s dad. I pray he is ok. She is going to Colorado and not very happy right now. I know she is missing her family. I miss her too. I wish we could be together right now.
I pray my cats are ok. The Connecticut sister’s b/f has been checking things online and says that from what he reads, the water in my area has receded. We still aren’t allowed in until possibly Monday and that will only be for an allotted time to check things and then leave again. We have no place to go. We’ve already registered with Red Cross and FEMA. Nothing for people like us is happening right now. I understand there is so much to do. We still need a place to go. There are tooo many people in this house.
Thanks so much for the prayers. Take care. Bye.
If He brings you to it He will bring you through it.

I guess in many ways kids adapt better than adults. I hope things are good for you when you go back on Monday….You and your family are on my mind.

I wish we had space, ’cause then I’d have y’all come here. (((Hugs))) The gov’t has *got to* help soon! (I know, I’m probably a lil crazy thinkin’ such…but I’m tryin’ to be hopeful.) I…yeah…I’ll keep prayin’ as that’s all I seem able to do. Please take care of you & crew, as best you can. (((BIG HUGS))) ~Lys

I’m so happy you are safe! I was praying for you and will continue. It will take time and lots of patience to get things back in order. I feel helpless up here in Ohio, I wish I could come down there and lend a hand. Big Hugz to you and the family.

I’m glad you are safe! They are setting up shelters in the Armories in towns near me. While it is a ways in Arkansas from you, that may be an idea. I hear they will be sending busses that way to help those displaced to come this way for shelter until they can return.
