Thursday was kind of nice.  The kids and I walked to the mall and looked around.  The two younger kids got shoes and one of them got uniform shorts.  Couldn’t find anything at all for the oldest kid.  That night did a little more school supply shopping.

Yesterday, hmm what happened yesterday?  I know we pretty much finished up the school supplies.  Well, for the younger two.  I don’t know what the oldest one needs yet.  He’s at that age where each teacher tells him on the first day of school.  Makes life for me harder.  Got his shoes finally.  He wanted black sneakers.  I HATE(yes that’s a strong word) black sneakers.  But I let him have them.   We had dinner out because we were running around so much.  I also made bannana pudding for the first time.  It’s the hubby’s favorite dessert so I have no idea why I’ve never done it before. It’s so freakin easy.

Emailed the friend the other day to ask him about something he sent me months ago.  He replied and told me all about it.  I’m glad I asked him instead of just doing it.  Would have been trouble.  He made a remark about text messaging each other once he figures out his new phone.  Yeah right.  Like it’s that hard to figure out how to work a phone and we don’t email each other, why in hell would we spend $.05 to text each other?

Today is very hot. I don’t think we’ll spend too much time outside.

In an effort to make the kids go to sleep early tomorrow night, we have plans (hahahaah) to get up tomorrow morning and go to the lake to watch the sunrise.  The kids have wanted to do this for a long time.  So, I’m going to make breakfast to bring with us to eat while watching.  I hope I don’t fall asleep at the lake and miss it all.   The big problem is keeping the kids up throughout the day so they will go to sleep early that night.  I know I won’t make it.

Have a great weekend.  Bye.

“In an effort to make the kids go to sleep early tomorrow night, we have plans (hahahaah) to get up tomorrow morning and go to the lake to watch the sunrise” You are smart! To keep them awake, just spend the day playing on the beach. (I’m assuming there’s a beach where there’s a lake. Probably not an accurate assumption).

Banana pudding…YUM! Atta you on the niceness in making it for hubby 😉 Good luck with the up-all-day and sunrise breakfast at the lake:-) Oh, but is it fall yet? This crap of 105 Heat Index is getting reeeeal old :-/ ~reminds self that at least it doesn’t snow~ bleh. Be good to you, or try to be! (((Hugs))) ~Lys

oh!…and ryn: I apparently have no gene for direction sense…and my next car should have a compass (one that doesn’t have water that will boil out…YIKES!) Of course, I get disoriented in my house, at night, when there’s no light. We should be amazed everytime I make it to MI without ending up in like, Iowa! ~laughs@self~ ~Lys
