the heart of the matter
the eagles. i heard a remix by india arie .. she does it justice, too.
"I can love like there was no one before you." Well put. I was trying to explain this to someone the other day, and this is what I was trying to say, but it wasn’t coming out right. It’s something I realized I’m proud of though. The slate is wiped clean for every new person I fall for.
I think I like Feist. They have more than a few songs with clapping in them, which is amusing. Not specifically why I like them, but very amusing. What album is the song Honey Honey on?
i know ive heard of that india arie, i think my gf listens to them. i cant keep up with it anymore. i’m getting to old.

in a way I guess that’s something to be proud of, but personally I’m kind of proud that I never forget the people I’ve fallen in love with. I mean, how can you forget something so precious. Just cause you fall in love with someone knew, doesn’t mean that that love before didn’t exist. After all, that new person you fall for may someday an up an old flame, and that person you’re loving so…

….much right now will be the person you forget. How true can this current love be if you’re willing to forget. I would rather deal with the pain of being jealous of someone I love still loving an ex, than deal with the pain of knowing that when they’re done with me, they’re going to forget me like they’ve forgotten the others. do you get what I’m saying?

..because i’m rubbish at it, pretty much

Since MyFloatingSoul is private entries only: .. I meant I can love without bringing any past issues into a new relationship. If you can forget somebody you say loved, you probably never loved them at all.
