An Icy Threshold

Invest in me your attention, for I seek it. Invest in me your confidence, for I deserve it. Invest in me your attraction, for I ignore it.

A divine wind swept up our souls and into our minds. We counted the patches of mist along the setting sky. We appeared as two angels drowning in the disgusting beauty. We took a stroll down the cliff that had grown jagged after it felt the presence of death. And we sighed in the breaking essence of humanity and existence and everything else. As it were, we stood in admiration. The divine catastrophe was our masterpiece. And the satanic promise bound us both in the heroic aftermath. And our liquid laughs iced over in the freezing darkness.

She left me today. She left me forever. And she’s never coming back. I’m all alone now. I’ll always be alone as long as we’re apart. We’ll always be apart. I’ll always be alone. Left to dwell on everything else. Simply a broken man forced into submission. I submit myself to her. I submit myself to everything else. I submit.

I don’t know what to say other than, wow. I just spent the last hour reading your diary word for word. You have a wonderful talent. You give me every emotion possible in your writing. I can actually see and smell the people in your stories. I feel like I have been there now. Thank You.

that was amazingly beautiful.. i fear that my notes seem redundant and eventually have no meaning because i always seem to feel and say the same things.. i just do not possess the vocabulary needed for such talent as yours.. i apologize..

your words are like biting down into the sweetest fruit for the First time. I do appreciate your comments, more than you know. 🙂
