Now i will speek to those who hear (part two)

In the collections of works attributed to the Prophet Zoroaster (pre-Mosses yal) there are two edition of the same prayer. It is interesting to see the striking Christian traditions started even here 5000 years bce (or so) it is also interesting to my emerging theme of Evil. In one edition evil Is punished harshly and in the other punishment is only lightly referenced in stanza 20.

((Whoever stands by the righteous man, to him shall future glory appear,

Long—lasting darkness, ill food, and wailing—

To such an existence shall you conscience

Lead you by your own deeds, O wicked ones.))

((oh an it is also interesting in vs 20 how it is own deeds, no original sin however it does say your conscience will lead so if your conscience proves original sin then best trust it but i think it is just a chicken way out of it, to say we are naturaly sinful… relives guilt… not my falut, it is a fault of being human. yeah i don’t like that escape, you were made in the image of a perfect being that means of a perfect mind thus your CORE is good thus you have to take responiblity and face the guilt and make retibution for all you feel you have wronged. this is the highest stanard of living. it is called Inlightenment by some, living in the heart of the budda for others, or to quote John 4;14 quoting christ but whosoever drinketh of the water that i shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that i shall give him shall be in a well of water springing up into everlasting life. ))

Here in the less sin focused edition it hints that it is your conscience that shall punish your sins thus it is your own guilt that leads you to hell.

Yet the sin focused edition has these alternative stanzas for 7,8, and 11

7. And to him cam Devotion, together with Dominion, Good Mind and Righteousness;

She gave perpetuity of body and breath of life,

That he may be thine apart form them,

As the first by the retributions through the metal.

8. And when their punishment shall come to these sinners,

Then, O Wise one shall thy Dominion, with the Good Mind,

Be granted to those who have delivered Evil into the hands of Righteousness, O Lord!)

11. If you, O men, understand the commandments which the Wise One has given,

Well-being and sufferinglong torment for the wicked and salvation for the righteous

All shall hereafter be for the best.
