‘sin’ now there’s a good topic. It’s probably universla law… that if we do wrong we will find wrong.

I go with the latter…

RYN: I really don’t know enough of your beliefs to make that judgement myself. For what its worth, I don’t think the majority of this country is “Christian” despite its name sake, even though most people in the U.S. try to live by some sort of “Golden Rule” standard and believe in an all powerful God.

(Commenting on the question of this entry now.) 😉 I do think God is the punisher of sins. But as for my personal arm of vengeance because of doctrinal views…I don’t have one. I may disagree with someone on doctrine, and that disagreement could very well be an incredibly important one, but why would I have any hard feelings? That’s God’s job, not mine.

Is this an A or B question? Neither one appeals to me. I don’t think we are given these lives to serve as an amusement for an angry diety. I think we are given these lives to become better people- souls if you will- not to populate hell. All sin- tis human nature.

its not a sin for someone to disagree with someone elses views. and God doesn’t need to punish us for wrongdoing – there’s no worse hell than a guilty conscience. but it sounds like you already know the answer to this. perhaps the question should be, why do you ask? ?

don’t we reap what we sow? get what we give cause and effect whatever goes around comes around must there be a third person?
