Christ’s Baby’s Mama II

So when the lease was up I moved out. I moved in with my friend Matt, his mom, his brother, and a couple of other squatters. Like 4 of us living in the basement with Matt.I was 20 at this point and I met Lucas that year. We started going out so I basically was staying at his place all the time. But it was kind of like a halfway house so we kept getting in trouble. So I moved in with my friend Tasha who was already being in the process of being evicted at that point. I had my 3rd arrest at that point as Aija had apparently been drinking downtown and got caught. She told the Yale police that she was me and had been given a ticket which she never paid or mentioned at all to me. So the police came to the house and they were looking to Tasha’s brother. They asked my name and I told them as I had no warrants or any reason not too. (Or so I thought.) Then they told me I had a failure to Appear due to the unpaid ticket and that it was a simple matter and they could make it go away if I just told them where Tasha’s brother was. So since that was about to happen they took me in. On top of that, they wouldn’t let me wear my boots because we had screwed metal spikes into the toes and I couldn’t get them out. So they took me barefoot. I was out the next day let it go as time served since I spent the night in jail.

Lucas and I broke up, got back together, and broke up again. Tasha got kicked out so I went back to Matt’s. My friend Rob had an apartment and his room mate had just moved out so I moved in with him. Unfortunately he was dealing coke and we were doing a shit load everyday. He got all weird and paranoid, He started locking me out and at that point I was spending a lot of nights at Lucas’s as he had moved and was only like a block away from Rob’s place. So Rob and I got in a huge fight after I had woken him up a few nights in a row since he kept locking me out. So I moved in with Lucas and his 2 room mates. I quit the coke. Then there was 4 of us in the 2 bedroom apartment. One by One the others trickled off and now it’s just the two of us. (And My brother on the sofa. VERY temporarily I hope)

I have a steady job. I mostly quit smoking. I have no sexual transmitted diseases. (Yup I finally got the courage to check) I rarely drink. I have a roof over my head and food in my fridge. I have my very own computer and a cat and a rat. I only rarely speak to my mom these days and so I say “Life is Good.”
