Cranky Husband

Ugh. James has been working a hell of a lot lately. This makes him very cranky. He’s been making snide remarks at me for the past two days. Yesterday he flooded the machine all over the floor on purpose so I’d have to spend a bunch of time mopping it up. He humiliated me in front of my friend today, making remarks about how hard he worked and how I didn’t work hardly at all, and the house was a mess on top of it.

I’ve applied to five jobs already, it;s not like I’m not trying. Yeah the house is a mess. I clean it, it gets trashed in two days, I’m sick of it.

I DO feel for him. All work, and we never get ahead. But we wouldn’t have to work so much if he wasn’t in debt for his moterbike and his old car (that he ran into a deer with), and various credit card bills…. All this was before we were married. Why do I have to feel guilty for only working part time for the time being…we shouldn’t HAVE to work this hard.

Anyways he’s been working since 1 today, it’s now 1 am…still not home. He’s going to be SOO happy when he gets home. I really can’t wait.

*sigh*

Agh, poor James. I think you’re amazing for understanding why he feels so cranky even when he’s not being so nice to you.

i know what you mean about a trashed house…

Ugh.

working hard makes anyone cranky especially when they are hardly getting rest….so everything will annoy them, i was in that situation for 4 years…

I got irritated all the time when the situation was reversed (I worked all the time while my husband went to school), so it’s understandable even though it’s not fair to you. It’s good you’re being so patient with him.

Have you guys moved yet ?
