Life of Crime
A quick entry to further the dim possibility that I’ll get enough entries in by the end of the month.
I went and donated plasma today before work, and evidently forgot to grab my coat from the little cubbyhole under the bed where I donated. I went back for it when I was done working and it wasn’t there. Not only was it, well, my coat, which is handy since it’s so cold out, but my wallet and keys were in it. Debit cards, driver’s license, social security card, student ID, car key, house key, bike key, gone. I couldn’t even bike home because my bike is chained up outside, so I had to have Scott come pick me up. I’m so frustrated right now. Yeah, it was dumb to forget it, but it’s not like I meant to.
The one potential saving grace is that it happened at the plasma center. They know which bed I donated in, and thus can see on the cameras who was there afterward. If they see someone grabbing it, they can ID that person, and once they figure out who it is, I might have a chance. Since they’d be a donor, we’d have all their personal information, so contacting them with the threat of not being able to donate anymore and/or police intervention would be easy at that point. Hopefully it’s just a case of someone grabbing it by accident, though I doubt it will be that easy.
That’s all for now, I’ll write about sushi later, when I have time and am not so stressed. I have to open tomorrow and work 7-530, and then work at 6 Monday morning, so I’m probably not going to write until Monday night. Ugh. Later.
i hope you can figure out who took it and get it back. that’s frustrating having to replace everything.

Damn. That really sucks. 🙁 Hopefully, they can find out who took off with it and get it returned to you.
