Cha-Cha this you psycho

I work with crazy people, literally crazy. I had a woman call me yesterday saying that she wanted to do a fundraiser for American Cancer Society while breaking a world record. Well, when she told me that she planned on raising $150,000 for me I was pumped….until she told me her plan. She wants to do “Cha-cha for a Cure”. Yeah, she’s completely nuts…wants to have at least 15,000 people cha-chaing at once to raise money. Very demanding too…she doesn’t understand that I am already running 4 major fund-raising campaigns and can’t drop everything to help her at this very moment. Cha-cha all you want lady…just leave me out of it and sign the check over to me.

Not much to write about really, Phil started packing up his things last night while I was gone. I came home to boxes strewn all over the floor. Not the most pleasant thing, but it has to be done I suppose. Now he’s getting grumpier and grumpier, doing little things just to jab at me. Yesterday he woke up at 6 a.m. to shower, and left the light on in our room while he was getting ready. He used to just quietly grab his things and leave the light off…nope, turned on every single lamp in the room. Come on now! Is that really necessary? I guess that’s just the price I’ll have to pay.

In Kyle news, he took me out to a nice dinner last night. We talked and watched the UC basketball team kick some ass, which always puts him in a good mood. I half expected him to try something that night with me to “redeem his performance” from the other night, but he told me that he didn’t want to keep me up too late because I had to be at work so early. I’m not sure if that was a cop out or if he was just being really sweet. Either way, he played with my hair and rubbed my back until I fell asleep. Leaving this morning was so hard because I was sooo comfortable in his arms. He actually holds me all night, not just part of it and then rolls over, but all night long. I love it. Makes me feel so safe and warm.

I suppose I should get back to work now, plus it’s almost lunch time and I have a business lunch to get to. Fun fun day…can’t wait to get home and relax tonight.
