i miss the mountains. i miss the cooler, shorter days. i miss jackets and snowflakes in september and hot chocolate and shivers and the crisp air. i think about joe. i think about packing up and leaving here. it’s not just an impulse, it’s an ache that last weeks and it pulls at my heart.

i enrolled in school. i am really, really loving my new job. my coworkers are trendy and real and it’s a better situation than i anticipated. i’ve reached another happy point with alan and things are peaceful and intimate.

i have a kitten. we have a kitten. his name is carrots and he’s about three weeks old. my mom found him in her backyard and obviously i took him. he’s a little clumsy and he seems a bit off beat, but he’s adorable and we love him.

i had more to write but i can’t stop thinking about how much i miss colorado.
