almost entirely pictures.

there was a wedding last night. the ironic and weird thing was a did i bridal photo shoot all day to showcase this new salon. i had a table last saturday that asked me if i’d like to model and i was totally for it. so my day started like this:

the shoot lasted all day. it was brutal. i think sitting down for make up and hair and standing still for dresses all day is considerably more difficult than carrying plates and walking non stop. they want to use me for a show next month and a few other projects in the upcoming months. i can’t say no to a day of airbrushed make up and loud club music because i actually had a really good time. we were almost late for the wedding but alan’s friend joe, who is super cool, managed to snap this on the way to the wedding.

i hated the updo for the wedding because i thought it was a little loud. after alan locked my keys in my car (!!), i had a few moments to take it down.

the wedding was so beautiful. the service was short (YES!) an d the reception was open bar, we sat at the coolest table, and the food was incredible, which is so rare for a wedding!

alan took lots of pictures of me. i look identical to my mom in this one.

and this is my new favorite picture ever.

the wedding was awesome. we’d been anxiously anticipating it and it didn’t let us down. cheers to more weddings, even if the divorce rate is 60%! 🙂

I love those pics. And I agree that the hair down was a bit much for a wedding but was SO beautiful down.

Recent statistics show that people are marrying less often but divorcing much less often. The most recent surveys indicate a 50% divorce rate.

I would KILL to be able to pull off a dress the way you did. You both looked great! Lauren
