best weekend ever went something like this:

megan and eric came up friday night. i don’t think i’ve ever laughed so hard. our abs were sore saturday from the amount we laughed. we didn’t really do much, had a few beers and smoked a little, but it was awesome. megan left for work early saturday morning and eric and i lounged around downtown and met up with a few of his friends to float the river. we got a late start and it was dark before we finished. there was a big party going on at his friend’s house so we hit that up for a bit before deciding that we are totally over house parties. i had vodka sodas and i need to stop drinking vodka because i’m way too open when i drink it. i tell eric everything.  yesterday was insane. after lunch we headed to austin. we hot sixth street which was probably not the smartest idea. we spent way WAY too much money and got entirely too wasted.

we danced so much. that’s all we did. shots and dancing and we were having such a good time. i love spending time with him. we got home, passed out, woke up sometime around 11 pm, headed to the grocery store, ate a watermelon, and talked until after 3 because neither of us could fall asleep.

he wraps both his arms around me when we sleep. i can’t keep my hands off of him and i don’t even have to think about it. i don’t wonder whether or not it’s okay to touch him, if it’s okay to say something, if he thinks i’m hot.

we’re floating the river and he’s loving on my body so much, telling me how much he loves my hips,

i need to chill out on the drinking. megan’s 21st is wednesday and we’re celebrating this weekend with pub run friday and 6th street saturday, but after that i’m going to lay low. i woke up with my heart pounding and shaky hands today and i don’t like that.

i can’t wait for next weekend. eric, megan, and luke. luke is coming into town and i can’t wait to share my favorite people with another one of my favorite people. i can’t wait to be surrounded by the three people i love being around.

eric’s eyes are blue with a gold circle that surrounds the pupil and i’ve already memorized the way his eyes crinkle when he laughs, the sound of his voice, and this confident swagger he has no matter what we’re doing or where we are.

it’s monday and tomorrow i’ll lay by the river all day, look for a job, and sleep in. i’m headed to megan’s birthday dinner wednesday night and hanging around SA the rest of that evening and thursday.

my stomach is flipping when i think about eric and all i can think about is the word "yes".
