birthday and more

so. January 28th to start with:

my brand new little niece was born. at 9:32pm. After only really about 3 hours of labor. Roni only had to push for 7 minutes i guess.

She didn’t even go to the hospital thinking she was in labor, she just though she should get checked cuz she was having some other problems.

We all thought, once she was admitted, "oh great, now she’s going to share the 29th with Vicki."

NOPE! My birthday is still my own, technically, but I know, especially next year, it’ll probably be forgotten.

So…. just in case you’re wondering. Her name is Gracelynn Jean, 6lbs 6oz, 20in long. Absolutely adorable. She looks just like her daddy, and has very cute chipmunk cheeks. I took some pictures at the hospital, so I can probably throw some in here when I get them up on facebook too.

So my birthday itself was pretty good. Other then a niece, the only gift I got was a card from Chris, that is very adorable. I like it. Apparently Chris’ mom got me something, but they left for Florida early Saturday for a week, so I won’t know about it till they get back.

Oh! I got something from Midas: an $850 car repair!!! woo…..

yeah, and JOSH loaned us $750 though I had only been asking for like, a COUPLE HUNDRED, because of it.

Chris had wanted to try and not use it, cuz we’re doing our taxes on Monday, but after paying it, we have about $150 left in the bank account.

So… we’re gonna throw it in as a just in case, and pay him back as soon as possible.

Otherwise, we had dinner at my moms (she was off for my actual birthday for the first time in about 15 years or so) so she made me my favorite, salmon patties and fried potatoes. It was very yummy. AND Carrie got me the ice cream cake for it. It was nice.

So with Steve being back now, I’m flipping my schedule and all, and it is not fun. I wake up a bunch, especially around 3/4 in the morning, and I can’t sleep more then 8 hours right now. And of course I’m falling asleep by like, 8, so I have to push myself to actually stay awake until at least 10, so I can sleep somewhat at the right times.

Blarg.

I’m hoping once I get back to work on Wednesday, that the labor of it all, will be a big help. I won’t have a choice but to be awake and moving.

So… points for that?

Alrighty, gonna go. Chris is waiting for me to help him out on WoW.
