The Dress…

So last night Carly and I went to David’s Bridal for me to try on dresses. I tried on 3 and then I do believe I found the dress:

And here’s what I believe to be the veil (the picture was teeny, so the link is better). I have some pictures of me in the dress that I’ll post when I get home (my ancient computer at work doesn’t have an SD card slot).

I tried on 2 more dresses but I didn’t like them as much as I liked this one. Plus, there was kind of a sign when I tried this one on. I’ve been trying to figure out what song we’ll dance to for our first dance and one of them started playing last night when I put on this dress ("God Blessed the Broken Road" by Rascal Flats).

It wasn’t quite the same response I had with my ring, but it was pretty darn close. When Carly and I went out to look at rings I kept seeing the same designs at each store. At Ashcroft & Oak I saw even more of the same stuff. Then I saw my ring. I pointed it out and said "I’m not sure why, but I kind of like that one." Once I put it on I felt that it was the exact right ring for me. I sent Bobby a picture of it, but I kept telling him that he didn’t have to get it for me since it was rather expensive. Part of his engagement journal said "You just told me I don’t have to get that ring for you…I already have it. I love making dreams come true."

So I have the right guy, the right ring, and I think I may have found the right dress. 😀
