I did something!

Oooooh!

In preparation for National Novel Writing Month I’ve been wanting to post a bit of the science fiction I intend to write during that time on a writing site I’m with, writing.com. 

I just now posted a short bit, about seven hundred words, for review. I’m going to write it a page at a time, since it’s not the main meat of the story I will end up writing (and which is currently at a little over ten thousand words), but hopefully I’ll be able to use the feedback I get to really flesh out my main character in ways I would not have been able to do on my own. 

I’m not going to post a link to it yet because I’m nervous and silly and completely paranoid. I will though! I promise! Once there’s more added to it!
