I’m sorry!

I am been absolutely dismal at keeping up with all of your diaries and I do apologize. Almost all the writing I’ve been doing lately has been in an effort to get words on pages, and ideas out of my head, and my presence as a would-be writer out there for the world to see. I promise I will catch up with you all very soon.

On that note, I’ve put the address for my new blog on my front page. It’s very basic and there’s not much there yet, but it’s a concerted effort to keep myself focused and to become more familiar with the worlds of fantasy and science fiction.

The main problem I’m coming up with is, again, the fact that I don’t read enough (how the hell could I possibly make that assumption, right?) But I feel, in the last week or so, I’ve come across so many new authors that I’d never heard of before, that have caused me to be completely appalled with myself that I had never heard of their names. How? How is this possible?

There are just so many great authors. I could never possibly read everything that’s out there, though I can try.

Anyway, as the story goes, the rough layout of the new map is more or less finished. I started drawing on it last night about 8 o’clock and it sort of just fell together. I’ll have to flesh it out a little bit and come up with names, but the geography is there and it’s all good.  There are also six pages on the outline. Very rough, but encompassing pretty much everything.
