Newest Member Of The Family…

My sister Jen just called me.  She’s preggers!  I am extremely happy and worried for her.  Happy because she’s wanted a child for a very long time now.  She didn’t get married until she was 26 and that guy was a complete asshole (he spent all her money buying coke and had got another chick pregnant while they were married).  Thank god that only lasted 8 months and no kids came from it.  The guy she’s with now is really great and fits in great with our family.  I’m worried because most of her life, she’s had problems with her "girl parts".  Most recently, she had a cyst on her ovaries.  She got that taken care of but it seems once something is fixed, something else breaks down.  She told me that she’s having severe cramps now and last night had to go to the emergency room because of it.  The doctors and checking her blood and measuring her hormone levels to make sure she’s where she needs to be.  I really hope she is able to carry the baby to term and she stays healthy too. 

I’m hoping it’s a girl (I would love to pamper a little niece!) but she says she has a feeling it’s gong to be a boy.  I think she wants it to be a boy just because our mom wants a granddaughter really bad.
