Preparations – Now With Editing Goodness…
I leave tomorrow night for Dallas. I’m heading home to meet up with Joe and he’s driving us up there (I’ll sleep the whole way ). I asked his aunt if she would watch the dogs when we were planning on going to Austin, but that was for Friday and Saturday. I told Joe to make sure adding on a Wednesday and Thursday would be ok with her. She’s got 3 little kids and I don’t want to overwhelm her. He said that she won’t mind. I told him he should still call her and make sure, but he said he doesn’t need to. She’s going to be a bit surprised to see us show up 2 days early with dogs…
A couple friends of mine, who were evacuated from New Orleans, have moved to Dallas and are actually in the apartments next door to the ones I’m looking at (http://www.inwoodonthepark.com). So now, I know I won’t be so lonely while I’m there.
I’m still a bit nervous about if I’m really getting this job or not. If I’m not getting it, why have me go through all the hassle of driving all the way up there and spending the money on a hotel room, just to tell me, "Thanks, but no thanks"? All the other people interviewing are in the Dallas area. I’m the only one from out of town. And, they came to me. I had no idea that this job was available until the Regional Manager told me about it. *sigh* I just don’t know anything any more…
Edit:
Just found out that the apartments I want to get won’t be available until late January. The bitches! Guess I’ll be hunting. I really liked those, too…
*crosses fingers for you* RYN: Yeahbut, it wouldn’t do any good – there’s nobody there after nine! 😛 Besides, it’s not like they’re trying to sleep in their office. (I hope!) 🙂

I’m sure everything will be fine. Just go with your gut feeling, which is what you are doing. It’s nice that you won’t be all alone in that new apartment complex.
